Carroll R. Bible

Carroll R. Bible of Cleveland, Ohio, went to be with Jesus on October 11, 2013, at the age of 88 at Season of Life Hospice, Parma, OH.

He was a retiree of Ford Motor Company, Engine Plant I, Brook Park, OH, and a veteran of the United States Army, having served our country from 1945-1947.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five years Vallie, parents Tipp Anderson, Sr. and Cora Bible, brothers Tipp Anderson, Jr. and wife Betty Bible, Everett (Pete) and wife Mary Lucy Bible, sisters Edna Bible and Erma and husband Roy Stewart, and sons-in-law James VanDyke, Charles Blazer, and Jack and Marie Gorrell.

He is survived by his daughters Judy (Frank) Rusin of Cleveland, OH, Lynda Bible of Cleveland, OH, and Sharon Bible of Parma Heights, OH, son Kenneth A. (Yolanda) Bible of North Olmsted, OH, sister Arlene VanDyke and sister-in-law Rena Blazer.

He also leaves behind grandsons Kenneth (Aimee) Herman of Parma Heights, OH, Jeremy A. Bible of Rocky River, OH, and Michael B. Bible of Westlake, OH; great-grandsons Tyler, Gavin, and Everett, all sons of proud parents Kenneth and Aimee Herman.

Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hitechew officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7:008:30 p.m. prior to the services.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013, at the Oven Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.
