Oscar Gurley

Oscar Gurley, age 83, passed away April 21, 2013, at his winter home in Yuma, Arizona.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty Gurley; one daughter Lorry Green and one son David Gurley, both of Newport; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister Rose Collins of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by one son Larry Gurley, one daughter Linda Cortez Dees, and one brother George Gurley.

Oscar was the original owner of Newport's KOA Campground and known for his charitable work as "Mr. D Witt the Magic and Balloon Animal's Clown."

He attended Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church in Newport.
