John Lewis Willis, age 88, of White Pine, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, January 26, 2013, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.

He was a member of First Church of God in White Pine.

He was preceded in death by his parents Julius and Lillie Lee Willis; his eight siblings; his son Howard Willis; and his daughters Linda Harris and Velma Helton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Eula Willis; his grandchildren Tiffany Harris, Traci Johnston, Jonathan Harris, and Cortney Helton; and his great-grandchildren Wyatt Johnston and Sadie Johnston.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at First Church of God in White Pine with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lynda Smith and the Rev. Junior Burchell officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at White Pine Cemetery.
