Hazel Mooneyham, age 92, of Del Rio, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at her home with her family by her side.
She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Mooneyham, three sisters, three brothers, and two grandsons.
Survivors include her daughters Shirley Turner (Richard) and Helen Henderson (John); son Raymond Mooneyham (Jenny); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special brother and sister-in-law Homer Martin Yates (Virgie); two special nieces Thelma Messer and Frances Henderson; along with several other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special "Thank you" to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, Jeff Grigsby, Tabi Messer, Chaplain Ron Cornell, and neighbor Cindy Self.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Haney and Rev. Bill Murr officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Piney Grove Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the services.
