Anita Gates Barrett, age 60, of Johnson City, formerly of Newport, passed away October 28, 2012, in Johnson City, Tennessee.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Large officiating.

Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the services.
