Fayetta Brooks Brown, age 91, of Del Rio, passed away early Saturday morning, January 30, 2010, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Cora Irene Brooks; husband Cecil Brown; brothers Walter Brooks and Decatur Brooks; sister Eula Dean Sams; sister-in-law Nina Brooks; brother-in-law Gerdine Sams; and grandson-in-law Pat Kelly.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Paul Daniels; granddaughters Sandra Perez Speer and husband Juan Perez Speer; Angie Daniels, Tammy Kelly, Patsy Gosnell and husband Tommy; grandsons Michael Hill and wife Kristy, Jamie Daniels, Dale Daniels, and Billy Daniels; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends; also special people Scott Gorrell, Abby, Heather, and Sheri from Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, and Faye and H. C. Southerland.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2010, in Manes Funeral Home West Chapel. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday prior to the funeral services.
