Faye L. Rizzo, age 52, of Cosby, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph and Katherine Rizzo and her brother Michael Rizzo.

She is survived by her father and stepmother Placido and Margaret Rizzo, her sons Zachary and Kylan, and many friends who loved her deeply.

She was born in Woodbury, New Jersey and relocated at an early age to Westhampton, New Jersey, where she graduated from Mercy High School. After graduation, she joined the U. S. Navy for five years and served as a hospital corpsman E5 petty officer.

While in the service, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in psychology. She was certified as a physical fitness and CPR instructor. She was pursuing an MA degree in secondary education at the time of her illness.

Funeral Mass services will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Route 321, Cosby, TN 37722 on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at 6 p.m. followed by a remembrance gathering at the church.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the trust of the teenage children in care of Mary Kelly, custodian; 917 E. Quaker Bottom Road, Sparks, MD 21152.
