Nanette Stewart Robinson

Nanette Stewart Robinson, age 55, passed through this life here on earth to be with her Heavenly Father on February 12, 2014.

She was born May 7, 1959 to Agnes R. Stewart and Jackie Smith.

She attended New Zion A.M.E. Zion Church while growing up. Later in her adult life she joined Macedonia Baptist Church where she served as an Usher and helped in the Missionary Circle.

She always took time to be with her children. That was her love.

She was preceded in death by her brother Clifford Jeffery Stewart III, brother-in-law Ritchie Carr, and grandparents Clifford and Andnellie Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Smith.

She is survived by her husband Walter Lee Robinson, Jr., one son Christopher Glenn Stewart of Johnson City, mother Agnes R. Green, stepfather Andy Green, whom she loved like a father; both of Newport, TN; father Jackie Smith of Florida; two sisters Vanessa Joan and Rhonda A. Carr, both of Newport, TN; godmother Christen E. Stewart of Newport, TN; special uncle, Joe Bragg of Newport, TN; two sisters-in-law Francis Robinson of Newport, TN and Christen E. Robinson of Springfield, MA; favorite aunt Deanie Stewart of Newport, TN; adoptive parents Roger and Phyllis Ramsey, who she fondly called “Mom” and “Dad.” She also leaves to mourn her loss one niece Leka, nephews Barry, Bobby, Tee, Jeffery Curtis, Jamie, Jeffery, and Adam, and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, special little friends, and adults.

The family will receive friends at Manes Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00—2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014, with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jesse L. Jones, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in Gum Springs Union Cemetery.
