Robert Lee Norwood, age 75, was born January 30, 1938, and died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother R A Norwood, daughter Robin Norwood, and sister Etta Waddell.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Norwood, daughter Myra Street, stepdaughters Gail Jones, Mary Wilson, Sandra Franklin, Ginger Myers, and Lisa Black; stepson Allen Franklin; granddaughter Heather Cash; great-grandson Christopher Banner; brothers Clifford (Brenda) Norwood; Johnny (Joanne) Norwood, Reece Norwood of Athens, TN and Lester (Sharon) Norwood; sisters Lois (Charlie) Chambers and Josie Chambers; special friend Fred Kelley; and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, in the Mulberry Gap Cemetery with Rev. Todd St. John officiating.
