Roby Whittion Stewart, 57, of Newport, Tennessee, was suddenly called home to be with his Heavenly family on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his son Chad Greene, sisters Elizabeth Stewart, Debbie Stewart, and Joyce Stewart Mayes, and best friend Ritchie T. Carr.

Survivors include, but are not limited to, his son Joshua Stewart of Newport, TN; daughter and fiancé Whitney Stewart and Charles Smith of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; mother Delia Stewart of Newport, TN; sister Janie and William Brown of Hyattsville, MD; brothers Tony and Rebekah Stewart of Clarksville, TN and Steve Stewart of Newport, TN; grandchildren Chad Green, Jr. of Nashville, TN; Aaliyah and Maurice Stewart of Newport, TN; Tyekavian Griffin and Jalaya Stewart of Brevard, NC; companion Loretta Love of the home; children of the heart Melissa Brabson, Antoinette Wiggins, and Tammy Talley; nephews Trevor Stewart, Deantay Robinson, and Logan Stewart, all of Newport, TN; nieces Chiannda and Natalia Stewart, both of Newport, TN; Beth Stewart of Arlington, VA and very special niece, Joniece 'Rat' Mayes of Newport, TN; aunts Mamie Elliot of Newport and Anna and Henry Cofield of Suitland, MD; uncle Charles Stewart of Newport; 'Tha Kids' Troyce and Azariea Mayes, Kailixx, Kashus, and Malachi Stewart, all of Newport, TN; as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gum Springs Union Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the funeral services.
