Norman Hairr, Sr., age 73, of Mooresburg, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Edna Hairr.

He is survived by his wife Sonya Hairr of Mooresburg; sons Norman Hairr, Jr of North Carolina; Jonathan Hairr of Falls Church, Virginia; Christopher Hairr of Warren, Pennsylvania; James Hairr of Asheville, NC and Dillon Hairr of Mooresburg; daughters Teresa Rowlett (Clinton) of Greenville, SC; Deborah Hairr-Bailey (Shelton) of Rocky Mount, NC and Ashley Hairr of Morristown; sisters Wilma Hairr of Bristol, CT, Annette Finch (Kendeth) of Summerville, SC and Laura Earl of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren Christopher Rowlett, Nicolas Rowlett, Moultan Alexander Bailey III, William Princeton Bailey, Valerie Elizabeth Bailey, Katherine Leigh-Anne Bailey, Spencer Miles Pollard and longtime friend Alfred Price.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Hills Union United Methodist Church with interment to follow. The family received friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013, at Manes Funeral Home.
