Wendi Lynn Womack, a loving, compassionate, empathetic living spirit, was born November 19, 1962, in Wise, Virginia, and passed away January 30, 2013, in Marietta, Georgia.

A graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School, ETSU, and ETSU School of Nursing, she worked as an RN in various medical facilities in the Atlanta area.

In addition to her love of caring for people, she also enjoyed gourmet cooking, reading, and swimming. She especially loved the beach.

She is survived by her husband Kim Gray of Acworth, Georgia; parents Don and Judy Womack of Kingsport; sister Vicki Chase and husband John of Marietta, GA; brother Donald Reid Womack, Jr. and wife Anna of Honolulu, HI; nephews Jack and Sam Chase and Reid and Max Womack; uncles and aunts Robert and Ruth Womack of Cummings, Georgia and Bud and Linda Dawson of Bybee; several cousins, and her beloved dog Lulu.

The family wishes to thank the many friends who sent their love, prayers, and memories of Wendi.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
