Scott M. Dyer, age 51, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Taylor Marie Webb, grandson Elijah Jackson Phillips, grandparents Ida Mae Dyer, Allen McMullen, Donna Louise Svenson, and William Lennard.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen Dyer of Morristown, sons and daughters-in-law Douglas and Tina Trussell of Washington State, and Christopher and Amber Phillips of Sevierville; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Chad Webb of Newport; parents Allen M. and Jeannie M. Dyer of Bybee; brother William A. Dyer of Bybee; sister Penny Walton of Bybee; sister and brother-in-law Dawn and Rick Slover of Knoxville; grandchildren Jessica Trussell, Jennifer Trussell, Katilyn Webb, Dominic Webb, and Isabella Webb, and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family would like to say a special 'Thank you' to Dr. Thomas Conway, Caris Home Healthcare, and Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chad Webb officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
