Annah 'Nanny' Webb, age 92, of Newport, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the Tennova Cocke County Convalescent Center.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Webb, son Joe Webb, sisters Charlotte Valentine and Dorothy Catlett, and daughter-in-law Deb Webb.

She is survived by her son Wessie (Karen) Webb of White Pine, daughter-in-law Betty Jean Webb of White Pine, brother-in-law Newell Valentine, grandchildren Brian and Stacie Webb, Josh and Jessica Webb, Stephanie Webb, Jessica Epley, Maci Webb, and Justin Webb. Nieces and nephews include Marcie and Chad Fox, Jason and Shelly Lewis, and Tiffany Lewis. There are many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013, with Eddie Young officiating at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery on Thursday, January 31, 2013.
