Barbara Ann Brockwell, age 71, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jess Bill Williams and Stella Mae Moss Williams and brother Charles Williams.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd S. 'L. S.' Brockwell, her daughter Belinda Gail Brockwell of Hickory, North Carolina, son Rodney Brockwell of Charleston, South Carolina, grandchild Lara Brockwell of Columbia, South Carolina; sisters Kathy Smith, Wilma Jane (Roy) Smith, Shirley Helton, and Nancy McDaniels, all of Morristown, and Georgia Mae (Paul) Cody of White Pine.

The visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2013, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. with the funeral at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend David Honeycutt will conduct the service. Interment will be in the Swannsylvania Cemetery following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Skyland Baptist Church (Family Life Center), Skyland, North Carolina.
