Barbara Dean England, age 67, of Newport, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, at Newport Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her mother Alice Hall, brother Charlie Hurst, and sister Carolyn Barnes.

She is survived by her daughters Carol (Jimmy) Gorrell and Alice (Greg) Dalton; sisters Emma Byrd and Joyce Brachage; grandchildren Jimmy Dale Gorrell, Brittany Gorrell, Zackery McGrath, and Tabitha Dalton; great-grandchildren: JR, Katie, Jacob and Bryson; also several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in Manes Funeral Home West Chapel with Rev. Ray Wiley officiating. Entombment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013, in Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum. The family received friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
