Mozelle P. Slater, age 79, of Cosby, went to be with the Lord on, Monday, December 24, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Slater who died August 18, 2012.

She is survived by her sons, Preacher Ray Slater of Morristown, Thomas W. Slater, Jr. of Mocksville, NC; daughter, Lora Goins, Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren, Amanda Vestal of Clemmons, NC, Allyson Medlin of Davidson County, Joshua Slater of Mocksville, NC; great-grandchildren, Dillion, Jake and Anna Vestal of Clemmons, NC; also other family and friends. The family would like to thank everyone at the Life Care Center of Jefferson City.
