Ella Mae Manos, age 71, of Newport, died Friday, December
14, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Belva
Roberts, significant other Samuel Webb, daughter Linda Faye Lundy, son William
Lundy, sister Mary Frisbee, brothers Hubert, Carl, and Clifford Roberts, and
grandparents Melvinie Waldrop and Rev. Duckworth Roberts.
She is survived by her husband Carl Manos, sons Kenny,
Larry, and Joey; daughters Teresa Diehl, Karen Maynard, and Melinda Gentry;
sisters Lucille Rice and Betty Manos; step-children Virgil, Eugene, Bobby Jo,
and Stephanie Manos, Angela Loveday, and Margarete Patterson; grandchildren
Samantha Lundy, Carson Gentry, and Kaden Gentry; great-grandchildren; nephew
Robert Wooten; and many other very special family members and friends.
A special "Thank you" goes to Smoky Mountain
Home Health and Hospice.
The family received friends at the home at 556 Eighth
Street, Newport, on Saturday and will continue through 10:00 a.m. Tuesday,
December 18, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday,
December 18, 2012, at Union Chapel Baptist Church, Weaverville, North Carolina,
with Rev. Carl Parton, Rev. Ben Watts, and Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow in Union Chapel Baptist Church
Cemetery.
