Patricia Mason Cureton, age 70, departed her earthly home and entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, after a year-long battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents J. L. and Christine Mason, brother Alvin Don Mason, grandparents Garfield and Eula Ramsey and Earnest and Princey Mason, plus numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years Carroll Cureton, daughter Angel (Ronald) Fowler, granddaughter Casey (Grant) Webb, grandchildren Addison and Madelyn Webb, brother Charles (Reginia) Mason, nephews Chuck Mason and Jackson Mason, plus numerous aunts, uncles, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and cousins.

Patricia enjoyed collecting dolls and angels. During the Christmas season, her house was always filled with nativity scenes and Christmas trees. Her two granddaughters were the joy of her life. She enjoyed watching Addison play softball and basketball and Madelyn always brought a smile to her face.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012, at Manes Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel.

The burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012, in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
