Paul Gregory Battistoni, age 65, passed away Thursday,
December 6, 2012, in Colorado.
Born on March 22, 1947, in Northampton, Massachusetts to
the late Paul Battistoni and the late Helen Zumbruski, he attended Amherst
Schools and served in the Army. While a resident of Massachusetts, he was Civil
Defense Director in Easthampton and a member of the Auxiliary Police, Hadley
Diveteam, Rod and Gun Club, Boy Scout Leader for many years, Lions Club,
American Legion, Pascoment Club, and the Polish American Club of Hadley.
He moved to Newport, Tennessee in 2005 and was a member
of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Sandra Lee
Battistoni, children Thomas Battistoni of Colorado, Sandra Conley of Tennessee,
Jodi Towson of Maine, Kimberly Squires of Massachusetts, Terri Wright of Maine,
Dawne Nowich of Massachusetts, and Skada Jolie of Massachusetts; sisters Gladys
Beaulieu and Ruth Ann Hatt; 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many
nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday,
December 13, 2012, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Father Robert Hofstetter
officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
