Kyle J. Tolliver, Sr., age 66, of Greene County, passed
away Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was a member of Bewley's Chapel United Methodist
Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jasper and Beulah
Tolliver, great-granddaughter Piper Chambers, father-in-law and mother-in-law
Bewley and Zora Toby, three brothers-in-law, and four sisters-in-law.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Mary Ann Tolliver;
five children and their spouses: Kyle, Jr. and Trish Tolliver, Joey and Gina
Tolliver, Matthew and Jessica Tolliver, Melissa and Mike Chambers, and Zora
Holt and Shane Clevenger. He was blessed with twelve grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren that he loved very much. He also had one brother, six
sisters, five brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law, along with several
nieces and nephews that he loved with all his heart, and a special grandson
Patrick Buckner.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday,
December 8, 2012, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel in Newport with Rev. Joe
Phillips officiating. Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, December 9,
2012, in Bewley's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be
his grandsons and the honorary pallbearers will be the men of Bewley's Chapel
United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on
Saturday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manes Funeral
Home toward funeral expenses.
