Nellie Lee Stanley, age 88, of Cosby, went to be with the Lord November 28, 2012, at Newport Convalescent Center in Newport, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Stanley, son Charles Stanley, Jr., and daughter Andrea Stanley.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Bob Morgan of Cosby and Pat and Ronnie Rainey of Liberty, Mississippi; grandchildren Robert (Stacey) Morgan, III, Marietta, Georgia; Michael Morgan of Sevierville, and Grant (Kimberly) Rainey of Texas; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Catherine Stafford of Lumberton, North Carolina; Frances Guy of Hope Mills, North Carolina; and Betty Ballance of Jacksonville, North Carolina; also many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park, Georgia, with Grant Rainey officiating.
