C. T. Hudson, age 77, of Del Rio, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Newport Lodge #234, Cocke County Shrine Club, Kerbela Temple of Knoxville, Knoxville Scottish Rite Bodies, Newport Chapter of the Eastern Star #461, was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, and was an active member of the Newport Rescue Squad.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eliza and Till Hudson, brothers Ed and John Hudson, sisters Reva Williford and Edith Herring, and granddaughter Hailey Hudson.

He is survived by his wife Judy Hudson, sons Tommy (Kim) Hudson and Steven (Angie) Hudson, daughter Pam Curan, grandchildren Byron, Melinda, and Michael Hudson, Jonathan and Megan Curan, and Chad Holdway, and great-grandchild Kylar Hudson; and brothers J. P. Hudson, Bill Hudson, and Joe Hudson.

Masonic services were held at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2012, followed by funeral services at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Winford French officiating. Burial was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, in the Daniel Cemetery, Del Rio, TN.

The family received friends from 5:00-6:45 p.m. prior to the services at Manes Funeral Home.
