Mrs. Yvonne Campbell, age 78, of Newport, passed away Wednesday evening, November 14, 2012 at Newport Health and Rehab.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Denneasa Knight, parents Weaver and Essie Hall, brother C.L. Hall, and son-in-law Bobby Howard, Sr.

She is survived by her husband Bill Campbell; son Gene Knight; daughters Duretha Howard, Debbie Knight, Cindy Campbell, all of Newport, and Dina (Michael) Kemp of Oklahoma; grandchildren Mickey Knight, Denise Knight, Jason Campbell, Jaymie Campbell, and Private Nick Nicholas; brothers Donald Hall and Walter (Ruby) Hall of Newport; and nephew Chucky Hall, of Newport.

The funeral service was held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charlie Lemmons officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 10:00 a.m. interment. The family received friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home, prior to the service.
