Delois 'Cooter' Fine Laws, age 76, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital after living a life dedicated to her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother Dovie Fine, father Harve Fine, daughter Phyllis Laws Zanzano, sister 'Blackie' Fine, and brother Paul Roberts.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Ernest Laws, sister Virginia Roberts, brother C. R. Fine, son Ralph Laws, daughter Janice Laws, daughter-in-law Susan Laws, granddaughter Carlee Laws, great-granddaughter June Parker, special nephew Dwayne McCallister and his wife Karen, great-niece Maci McCallister, along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Freeman officiating.

Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, in Union Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
