David Alexander Bramblett, age 69, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at his home.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from IBM.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Johanna Bramblett, parents Harold and LaVerne Bramblett, and brother Noel Bramblett.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Johanna and Steven Hutson of Newport; sons Alex Bramblett and Timothy Cook of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren Marcus Bramblett and Breanna, Logan, and Leah Hutson; also great-grandson Zaydien Bramblett.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those who wish to send flowers may send them to 142 Campbell Road, Newport, TN 37821.
