Roger Dale Murr, age 55, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012.

He was preceded in death by father Fred D. Murr, Sr., mother Ann Underwood, and brother Freddie Murr.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Murr; daughter Stacey Murr Berry; step-father Cas Underwood; sister Michelle (Jeff) Atkins; brother Danny Murr Underwood; step-brother Jeff Underwood; grandchildren Keyon McFarland and Jayden Berry; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Ray's Chapel Baptist Church in Newport.

The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with services following.
