Pauline F. Templin Murrell, age 91, of Newport, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012.

Polly was best known for being a wonderful cook, farmer, and avid gardener in the Bogard community and for her devotion to the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Murrell, her brothers Estel (Bill) and Jim Templin, sisters Madaline Murrell and Johnnie Wilson, and grandson Keith Murrell.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Joanne Murrell and Dale and Nancy Murrell, grandchildren Kevin (Erin) Murrell, Sherri (Jonas) Cook, Bo (Ashley) Murrell, Celeste Murrell, and Blue Duck Murrell; step-granddaughter Patti Ann Mathis; six great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sister Joyce Rolen of Chattanooga; very special cousins, nieces, nephews, and the many friends who were always welcome at her dinner table.

Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012, at the Jenkins Chapel Cemetery (Bogard Road) with Dr. Frank Bell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to honor her are requested to be made to the Jenkins Chapel Cemetery, 454 Lower Bogard Road, Newport, TN 37821.
