Lessie N. Campbell, age 83, of the Irish Cut community, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents William H. and Eliza Paralee Rowland, brothers Herman, Richard, and Ray Rowland and Chester Turner, and sisters Minnie Coggins and Ethel Raines.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years James Campbell; daughters Janice Woody (Gary), Sherri Gregg (Phil), sons Ronald Campbell and Randell Campbell (Kate), grandchildren Collin Woody, Melissa Ponder (Joe), Ammie Vansant (Roby), and Brooke Grahl (Tyler); three great-grandchildren Jaydyn Ponder, Johanah Ponder and Sariah Vansant.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Presnell and Rev. Tim Carson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012, in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
