Paulette 'PJ' Jenkins Haynes (September 19, 1951-July 24,
2011) passed suddenly at her home on Sunday morning.
PJ, a loving and faithful wife, daughter, and friend,
received her Heavenly Promotion following a short battle with cancer.
She was an employee of Food City for 38 years. In
addition, she was a member of West End Baptist Church for 39 years.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband and
'best friend' of 39 years Farley Haynes. Other survivors include the following:
precious and loving father and mother Clenzie and Bonnie Jenkins; loving
father-in-law Lloyd Haynes; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Steve and Frances
Haynes; sister-in-law Sonya Haynes; nephews Justin Frasier and Jeremy Killion
(Morristown); nieces Cierra Inman (Nashville) and McKenzie Inman (Tellico
Plains); Miranda Alvey and Stacey Haynes; aunt Wanda Henry; uncle J. B. McCarter;
cousins Mabel Phillips (Alcoa) and Glenn Phillips; Debbie Johnson and Sandy
Childress (Tellico Plains); Ricky and Jeffrey Starnes, Buffy Gregory, and
Ricky, Kurt, and Billy Lynn Sinard (White Pine); relatives and close friends
Ricky and Vicky Gregg; special friends Gary Witt and Linda Worth and ALL Food
City West employees; and special friends and 'church family' of West End
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26, 2011,
beginning at 5:00 p.m. at West End Baptist Church. The funeral service will
follow at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Tom Mooty and Rev. Larry Wells will be officiating.
Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on
Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
