William M. Ellison, age 84, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.

Funeral services will be held  at 8:00 pm, Friday, August 27, 2010, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hal Kirk, Rev. Bill Ball,  and Rev. Mike Sutton officiating. 

Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010, in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
