Hugh H. Dalton III, age 66, of Dandridge, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Lillie Mae Dalton, sisters JoAnn Perry and Barbara Dorsey, and brother Lynn Gambrel.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Dalton of Dandridge; daughters Della (David) Banks, Dandridge; Valerie (Johnny) Eldridge of Sneedville; Lillie (Howard) Knotts, California; and Amanda (Herbie) Lawson of Newport; brother John (Sandra) Dalton of Newport; sisters Dianne Edmonds of Dandridge and Kathy (Virgil) Sutton of Newport; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010, in Hills Union Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
