Thomas Edward (P. J.) Gray, age 56, of Chestnut Hill, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ponder and Margie Belle Gray, brothers Don Gray, Marshall Gray, and Ponder Gray, Jr., and one sister Thomasene Gray.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Julia and Josh Barnes of Newport; sister and brother-in-law Carolyn and George Etherton of Dandridge; brothers and sisters-in-law Willis and Bobbie Gray, K. L. and Francis Gray, and Buster and Sylvia Gray, all of Newport; and Jack and Judy Gray of Dandridge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Manson Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services at Manes Funeral Home.
