Doris Jane Lee, age 78, of Newport, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 8, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Edward Lee.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Kelvin and Rebecca Lee; grandsons Paul Kristopher Lee, Nickolas Robert Lee, and Noah Jacob Samsel, all of Newport; sisters June Menard and Shirley Eslinger, both of Dandridge; sister-in-law Zula Gorrell; niece Paula Ann Douglas, and nephew Edward Gorrell, all of Newport.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Craig Ward officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, in Union Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
