Mr. Russell Craig Holt, age 50, of Newport, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010, in Tampa, FL.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his son Danny Lee Holt and aunt Billie Smith.

He is survived by his father Charlie Holt, Jr. of Parrottsville; mother Frances Holt of Newport; aunts Kaye Black of Del Rio and Irene Hall of Parrottsville; and uncle Jimmy Holt of Paint Rock.

Additional survivors include several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hal Kirk and Rev. Tim Carson officiating.

Interment will be in the Jonestown Cemetery, Del Rio.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with final expenses.
