Joe Edward McGaha, age 56, of Newport, passed away Friday, March 5,2010 at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.

He was preceded in death by his mother Christine McGaha, father Paul McGaha, brothers Hollis McGaha and John Alfred Smith, half-brother Paul McGaha, and half-sister Leta Suggs.

He is survived by his sons Lucas McGaha (Kelli) and Sven McGaha (Josette), grandson Zakary McGaha, brothers Charlie McGaha and Jerry Smith, sisters Helen Hayes and Doris McGaha and very special friends, Brenda Roberts and daughters.

As per his request, he will be cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
