CharlieAbbadie, II, age 26, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in Johnson City Medical Center.

 He waspreceded in death by his grandmother, Georgia Mallory, and grandfather, Bill Mallory.

 He is survived by his parents, Charles and Charlene Abbadie, of Newport; brother, John Daruna and wife, Susie, of Cosby; sister, Cindy Douglass and husband, Drew, of Raleigh, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Jessica and Zack Daruna, of Cosby, and Lucas and Owen Douglass, of Raleigh, N.C.; also several aunts, uncles and a host ofother family and friends.

 Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2009, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Hall officiating.

 Entombment will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 4, 2009, in Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum.

 The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
