Ruby Leanna Maddron Morris,
age 72, of Newport, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Glen Maddron; parents, Warren and Bertha Campbell; sisters, Beulah
Mae Benson and Betty Jo Dalton; brother, Johnny Wilson Campbell.
She is survived by her
husband, William W. Morris, of Newport; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and
Rosie Maddron, of Charleston, Tenn.; daughter, Glenda Maddron, of Knoxville;
brothers, Charles 釘illy・Campbell and
wife, Yvonne, of Newport, and Buddy Edward Campbell, of Newport; sisters, Sarah
Lou Dalton, of Cosby; Stella Freshour, of Parrottsville; Polly Sue Stuart and
husband, Jesse, of Parrottsville; Bertha Jean Coggins and husband, Tim, of
Cosby; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great
grandchild; also several special friends and other family.
Funeral services will be held
8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Manes Funeral Home West Chapel, with the
Rev. Scott Gorrell officiating.
Burial will be 1:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Union Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive
friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral
services.
